Hey guys,

Just a quick tip. Long story short my lug nuts started to get very rusty and I wanted to replace them... Dealership wanted $40/tire (5 lugs)

I was at autozone and asked of they had them by any chance and they did! Same exact ones as OEM for $2.50/nut so about $13.00 with tax!

Just wanted tO share the knowledge!

Hmmm well yes Autozone will have replacements but how do you know for sure that they are the exact identical OEM ones like do they come in Honda packages??? Not trying to be a smartalec but they may just be replacement as opposed to original. Although they maybe just as good. People on here are typically nazis about going OEM Honda everything they'll pay the extra $$$ just to say its all "real" parts. "If its not OEM Honda its a fake" no matter what. Personally I will always look for a affordable price Im not rich and cant afford to get OEM everything if it looks and work as goods as an OEM part I will go that route. I buy stuff on eBay I dont care. Yes there are certain instances I will differ to OEM Honda on important parts. I went to Autozone to get a wheel stud and lug nut on a 98 Civic. Good find nonetheless.

Ok no they don't have Honda labeling.. I matched it up with one of my OEM ones, has same shape, size and color. Looks like the others on my car so it may not be "Honda" but it's the same thing at a quarter the price.

Well Im with you Id probably go that route. On 1/2/2012 my car was stolen and it was found 2 weeks later basically stripped. Didnt have wheels & tires. I thought to myself I could possibly find a set of wheels and tires on craigs for $200. Then I realized the car didnt have the lug nuts either... Well if I would have kept the car guess what route I would have gone... Yep Autozone lug nuts. So like I said for me the Autozone ones are a good replacement. Good to know the for the price.
