I know when I test drove the Scion tC, it was a bit short for me :banghead: . I am 6'4" and am worried that I'm going to be too big for this hot ride.

Does anyone know whether or not the Si will accomodate me or should I start looking at other lesser rides?

Also, I heard there was an issue from the edmunds.com article that the view of the speedometer was obscured by the steering wheel. Anyone have this happened to them as well?

i dont see how the speedo could be blocked,
the thing is higher then the windshield
at 6' even I can tell you that the 7thgen coupes are decent. I have the seat all the way back myself and can still get the clutch pedal to the floor. I wish it was a little longer myself on longer trips. I know there were some 6'4" 7thgen owners. They said they had to have their seat back leaned to make it fit ok. My head is pretty close to the sunroof if I have the back of my seat up high now.

I'm not sure how much bigger the new ones will be. I'd obviously go sit in the new one when it comes out. They should be at dealerships on the 15th of sept. Hope that helps some
xB, hehe. I'm 6'1" and i feel short sitting in my xB

just saw this. Maybe these measurements can be compared to the TC?

Webby,

I keep checking them, but it's only about a half inch difference from the tC. I'm worried I might have to go down to the LX because it has no sun roof, unlike the EX/Si. Anyone test drive it have any other info? (maybe height adjustable seats?)
shemmy just drove the EX and I think he's about 6ft. PM him, or ask him what the seats were like as far as the height adjustments
I'm 6'2 and have a sedan plenty of room for me. Usually the coupes have a little more room
webby.... how do you think I would fit in it??? :thumb:
i have a friend who is 6'5 and he loved the 7th gen civic. he said that the coupe offered him more room than the sedan. i don't know if there is a difference in dimensions of coupe and sedan in the 7th gen, but he said he noticed a great difference.

I have an 05 Civic EX Coupe.he sat in mine and tried in another 05 civic EX, but sedan. he said he felt a big difference. He liked the coupe better.

i hope that helped man.
the sedan is about 1.2 inches taller in "head room" than the coupe according to specs...but don't the EX versions of the coupe have electronic adjustability?(up,down, forward, backward, lean, etc.)
just to clarify... I am 5' 4"..... I think I might bump my head. :D

what do you consider short ? im 6"3' , and i dont hit my head on the roof...
And go sit in a Civic Coupe, that will give you the best idea of how the Si will fit you. They are out now...
^^ they SHOULD be out, but no one has seen one to date yet. Dealers around me say 2-4 weeks till the coupes will show up. ick.
