FINALLY THIS IS THE Brain Crower Stage 2 Cams w/ valve train!

2007 Civic Si
DCRH, Apexi Ws2, Injen CAI, Pr2 Throttle Body Spacer, Pr2 Intake Manifold Gasket, Ingalls Torque Damper, Neuspeed Sport springs, Comptech short shifter

I bought the cams and was having some problems and will explain it all. I have videos of the experience and pictures of the headache.

I will dyno soon, and my a/f fuel is fine. I will run more videos of my AEM wideband later. Most likely when you guys bug the crap out of me.

This is the Toda K20 Heavy Duty Chain Tensioner, something you should know when you upgrade the valve train with a higher spring rate you should upgrade this b/c **** happens? oh well....

little reving with a warm idle....I dont think the sound quality does justice because the camera was to close, but you can hear the lobe...

A/F is 11.5 to 12.5 WOT in fourth depending on what RPM I start at...:eek:mg:

Dyno later in the winter b/c TEXAS is HOT....so dont ask right NOW!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did this all cost you? im guessing close to a grand?... im sure you'll see some gains, but at this point is it worth it w/o tuning to get the full potential out of this type of mod/upgrade? I'm not trying to be a ****, just honestly curious.

sorry small note....i tried the cams with the reflash and the engine fell on its face....DONT DO IT!!! IT WONT WORK!! crower says that the 4500 vtec engagement is to low and needs to be at 6000

NOTICEABLE! like a header...i had the reflash first and got rid of it to run the cams (THANK YOU EXCALIBUR AND WIFE!!) it pulls great like a reflash but gains more when that vtec hits. crower said that they are high output cams for higher rpms

i got the cams from yoparts and the install for 400 including the toda tensioner. i like it and its worth the money. now i am looking at high compression pistons, 11:7 like a type r or 12:1. dont know yet

Your car runs ok w/ the stock ECU even w/ stage 2 cams?
yes the ecu is fine. the a/f is ok... could be a little better at some points but how much would half a point gain? i dont know

Did you use the spring kit with seats or without the seats?
