thoughtyou guys use the same steering wheel as the fd2s
i bought my fd2R steering wheel no airbag for 100$ AUD
used my existing airbag

Lol?? That's it above? The wheel the op ordered.? Looks 100% exactly like a si wheel with jdm emblem added?? You can't tell it's a actual jdm wheel even if you tell people? I think the j racing wheel has cf trim at least on top and looks exciting. I hope I am wrong but that's a lot of cash for something that does not at least look extremely different
The leather is different with the SI ver. Can't confirm cause I never seen one in aus
The carbon trim from js racing is a double sided tape trim
I've ordered a trim which replaces it

I'm pretty sure the J's steering wheel which is like the FD2 wheel because it uses the same airbag cover. You can use the 2008ish airbag for your new wheel.

Maybe I'm convoluting myself, but can't you use the Fit airbag and trim on the J's steering wheel? Because isn't the Fit airbag cover pretty much if not exactly like the FD airbag cover? I'm pretty sure the airbag from the U.S. spec fit is the same.I just optioned to get the type r module as [email protected] I'm glad the thread could help I set it up to do so.....it's just a lot of digging to find what you need.
Ok now I been doing research and just need to know the j racing carbon wheel the one with yellow stitching will fit a USA ex coupe?? All buttons transfer over and just get a Honda fit airbag?? What year fit airbag and does everything else transfer over?

Ok, RHD wheeels will work on our cars. HOWEVER USDM SPEC airbags wont transfer over to RHD oem wheeels or the J's racing. YES, There are a few members on here with J's Racing wheels. They are using Rhd airbags.
Vendors stop selling J's racing wheels to the USD market because of this. Now i know you guys are ll thinking HEY HIPHOPSI I CAN STILL FIND THE WHEELS FOR SALE AND SHIPPED TO ME NO PROBLEM. well read the fine print it says that the USDM airbag wont fit.
Now someone mention something about the Fit airbag fitting. That sound good great, but has it been CONFIRMED? NO, IT HAS NOT. Now im not saying it wont fit. Believe me if it fits ill send $500 right now for a J's Racing Wheel.
Now im hoping OP will find a way to make it fit. A lot of people on 8th since 2005 have been too scared to try to make things work. If it is not a direct bolt on they dont try it. I doubt many J's racing vendorS even tried to make it fit. They just took the word of buyers complaining and asking for there money back.

just got an email today from rhdjapan. parts are back ordered until july. im not waiting that long so I cancelled the order. looking at other options as to get a complete jdm wheel
Have you tried Msjsracing? she is a distributor for them. Contact info is [email protected] you're really wanting the J's setup I don't mind helping out.Its a spendy setup though one of the main reason soo few ppl have them. Idk what's up with hiphopsi and his caps, but you might have to hit up a junk yard to get a airbag module from a wrecked car(for test fit). I know when I was referencing parts to do the swap on hondapartsdeals.I ended up buying more than what I needed.Its a trial and error effort I just know that the Honda fit and jdm jazz are the same cars that share production parts.
