I'm concerned after having my new Tein struts and shocks installed. The shop was supposed to order new mounts and boots if needed (and never did), and reused the original mounts and boots, so now the pistons to the struts are exposed. I talked to the technician and he says that I shouldn't have any concerns, but my oldest son who is a mechanic himself and a manager at Advance Auto parts advised that I should get the boots replaced. I really don't want my Tein Endura Pro Plus shocks destroyed.... should I have anything to worry about?
