procivic.com has a complete turbo kit under $2700 for the R18 that will smoke a stock Si by 2 car lengths. But if you want something really sweet, call AJP and they'll hook you up.
now i have been looking into the engine swap for the k20 and k20 type r. the type r is about 1200-1500 more is it worth it to get the type r or the regular k20?
i hate this douchey comment. the si is a fine performer for the price. the same cannot be said for the base civic. ive driven an ms3, a gti, the new cobalt ss tc... all quicker, but all less exciting to drive. no other cars are in the si's price that match it for fun.
They just don't know what they're talking about my first car was a 91 crx SI. It was fast and fun. my friend in high school had a 1999 civic SI stock and we raped the s*** out of it. we jumped it it was a fast car we also work the barbershop racing and we did motor swap in 3 hours to go street racing.
All these motors are interchangeable if you know what you're doing
