I am considering buying an 8th gen civic, but after looking at it I noticed that there was a fluid dripping from the back of the engine bay. I checked it, and the fluid was odorless, and when I soaked some into a paper towel, it looked how I would expect water sitting on that driveway to appear. I did not try to tase it. Does anyone know what this might be? Is it a cracked engine block? Is it something else? It does have an active engine code, code P0420, which my scan tool tells me means that the Catalyst system efficiency is below Threshold bank 1. Is this related? I know the passenger engine mount is bad, but I don’t think that is what is causing it. I will upload some images in a bit.

If it is dripping right from that exhaust flange then I am thinking it may just be condensation that coming from the cat. You may also have an exhaust leak that is throwing the code for the cat and that is where the condensation is getting out.
