I pulled my emergency break all the way up, when I put it back down it seemed fine but when I for example go over a speedbump the lever lifts up and catches, never had problems before, any suggestions on what to do
First off, if it happens, remove the emergency brake cable and push the lever all the way. It will free it up so you can continue driving to you preferred garage.
Also, not a good idea to put OEM spring on non-OEM caliper.
In my case it was faulty caliper that had been installed just month before, however that particular service chain does not transfer warranty to new owners (I wish I had know man)
I did a DIY swap and now it works properly!
Few days ago I came home and there was this weird smell, one rear brake was super hot. I checked and found out that the return spring for hand brake cable is missing.
