Just checking up on alternator replacements for my 2006 Si and was wondering if these cheap suckers were as low quality as you pay for or if they were worth to buy? Checking if anyone has given them a try. Not finding any cheap OEM.... Thanks

You can take your alternator in to many shops and get it rewound and bushings/ bearings replaced

thats not an "ebay" alternator, its a OEM alternator that jsut happens to be listed FS on ebay.
its used. thats why its cheap. ask how many miles were on the engine it came off of.

hmmmm i see, thanks for the feedback. Was just wondering if anything had bought any of these before and if they are worth their cheapness... Maybe would be nice to have an extra already rebuilt and ready for swap... Then again I don't know how long alts normally last on these cars.
