Nice way to start off ownership of the car! These cars are definitely able to get their EPA #'s and greater when you watch how you drive

My overall mpg has sucked donkey *** since I've been in NY.

Yesterday I decided to check how my FG handled some of the back roads between Pulaski and Watertown and calculated roughly 21mpg. Fun roads but the pot holes SUCK!

I was raised in Prattsburgh, NY so it's more like "welcome back to NYS".

I'm staying in Pulaski, NY for most of the summer and you're correct, fishing and hunting are amazing here but I'll be on my way to WA once Salmon season starts here. :-(

In the meantime, I'll be working out my suspension on these back roads and continue to achieve poor mpgs. :)

Haha too funny!

My most recent fill up 33mpg, 50% freeway going 85mph the other around town! I'm sure when I get my ultra gauge and try I will get almost 40mpg!

I love my ultraguage and its helped me get 37mpg on average.

It takes a few fill ups to calibrate and I love tweaking which readouts i can have at any time. Very useful as a CEL tool also.

43 mpg on my last fillup. Mainly highway traveling at 65 80% of the time. Rest was done at 65-80. A/c was on 50% of the time.

Most recent tank I got 30 MPG. I drove about half highway and half local, which is hills and some stoplights/intersections. I didn't really try to save fuel, but I wasn't punching the throttle like crazy either.

How can you tell witch kind of civic you have, as in DX, LX, EX..ect?
For the sedans, from the outside:

EX will have 16" alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, and a moonroof.
LX has 16" steel wheels w' covers, no moonroof.
DX has 15" steel wheels w' covers, black door handles, black side mirrors, no moonroof.

The Si has red Si badges, trunk spoiler, 17" alloy wheels, and moonroof.

I think the differences are similar for the coupes, but not 100% sure.

39.9 MPG on my last road trip, with Civic fully loaded. I probably could have gotten 40+ MPG, but there were several stretches of highway where I had to push 80 MPH to keep up with the flow of traffic.

Lifetime MPG is just over 30 MPG.
