Hey guys,

So someone side swiped my car while it was parked and dented my driver door pretty good as well as destroying the side mirror, some paint scrape on the rear door, and front fender (very minor). The dent is enough that i can roll the window down a tiny bit before it gets stopped. I'm currently checking with different body shops for estimates on fixing it.

I have a feeling I might just end up doing it my self. Going into the a pick your part and getting a replacement.

I have an 07 Si sedan. I just don't know if I have to get an exact match or will any 8thgen sedan driver door work?

If anyone's got experience with replacing the whole door could chime in with any advice that would be most appreciated.

I would probably stay between 06 and 09 si doors. I am not sure really if there are any differences in the shell but I don't notice any significant differences between si and lx doors. If you find one for an lx and absolutely cant find one from an si you might have to take a chance, I'd look at some measurements first though, comparing the passenger side door attachment points to the passenger side door of the donor car and stuff like that to confirm before buying though.

Any 2006-2011 door will work. Doesn't matter the trim level. Just transfer your inner door panel to the new door.

Sat in an 8th gen Si. Doors (I've taken mine apart numerous times). They are all, physically, the same thing, except for interior door panel.

I just put an 08 door onto a 10 sedan . all things work well. door fit perfect. door lock ,window all good.
What I did find was the the plug in for the power mirror was different. The 10 model, the wire harness is capable to have heated mirrors. The 08 didn't. . If the door you buy has the mirror all should be good. good luck on a color match but it sounds like your in for a paint job
