Does this look legit?

I was looking for a 4-piece mugen style spoiler that would fit on an FA5 and found this on ebay. Its a good deal cheaper than some other ones I've seen online. What do you guys think, look like a good buy? Doesn't have a 3rd brake light but still looks pretty good from the pics.

Well, I know its unpainted. But its still cheaper than unpainted mugen style wings from other sites. I was just wondering maybe had anyone bought a wing off ebay, or seen one, and how the quality was. The thing is I was looking for one with the third brake light, this one doesn't have it but it still has the bottom piece which I like.

I have a good paint guy so hopefully the total I spend here won't get too high xD

I think I'm going to pick it up, if I don't like it I can always return it. I'll post up pics once everything is done, I just purchased a bunch of parts this week so hopefully I'll be installing them over the next week or so.

Looks fine to me, I know a guy who got a mugen spoiler off ebay and it looked fine on his car. I never checked closely for quality though, but from a few feet away it looked okay haha. Thing is if you don't like it, I'm not sure you'd be too happy with the shipping fees and hassle on returning it.

Btw I got my spoiler painted and installed for $180. There were some other shops that quoted me for $400 though for the paint + install. Of course, you'd have to pay the same amount if you bought the same spoiler from other places. If you ever do a JDM conversion or anything, the holes might not match up with your new FD trunk. It shouldn't matter atm though if you're putting it on a USDM trunk. I got my spoiler from kplayground and was surprised when I impulsively did my JDM rear conversion that the spoiler holes matched my FD2 trunk holes perfectly lol

They are replicas of course, it is the cheaper route than getting the legit ones.

you can get the replicas painted from 200-400 depending how prep and work you want to invest.

I know honda comes delivered as painted (figi blue).

Yeah. I don't want to pay a grand for something when I can get something way cheaper that looks just as good (IMO)

Cool, sounds alright then. I was going to buy from kplayground, but I have no interest in a rear conversion. TBH I like the USDM rear better than JDM. Also, the spoilers on there were more expensive, and unpainted as well. The advantage is the one on kplayground has a third brake light, but well at this price I don't really care haha.

I ordered it a couple days ago so I guess we'll see once I get it all ready and installed. Still need to call my paint guy but I don't think he'll charge me more than $100.

hey man, i was wondering did your spoiler from kplayground had the mugen logo on it or did you get that else where separately? I know the spoiler is a replica but it looks legit haha
