09+ has usb port which you can put usb/ipod adapter into. The headunit recognizes the ipod being plugged in. It's better quality sound this way vs. aux port.

I dont have a USB hub, but I have an AUX in jack in my 2006 EX. Came that way.

I'm not sure. It's in the middle cosole department thing.. I think. It'd probably take some time because you'd had to rewire stuff and what not.
