Just curious, my roommate just locked himself out of his 96' Corolla and it got me to thinking. Does our car allow you to accidentally lock yourself out of your car if the keys are in the ignition?

Probably not, since I think a lot of people use the lock/unlock function on the key anyways.

Yes, our remote is a blessing in disguise. I did this numerous times in my 90 integra.... I ended up hiding a key in the bumper! :badger:

i dont think you can use your remote to lock the door while the key is in the ignition i believe....

I leave my keys in my ignition all day with the door unlocked (I work at a garage and we have a huge lot, and my car is probably the least desirable car on the premises), and the only way to lock your keys in the car is to manually push the lock on the door handle. The power lock button doesn't even lock the driver's door if the key is in the ignition.
