I deliver pizza in my '08 Civic LX manual. I'm curious if it's more damaging to keep my car running between runs vs. turning the engine off between runs.

when I put my car in first, give it gas, and let off the clutch sometimes it shakes a bunch. I thought maybe it was because of how long she was idle. however, when I turn my car off between runs it still shakes just not as much. I have no experience working on cars but I watch Donut Media a lot lol.

anywhere from 5-15 minutes. I usually turn my car off if it's longer than that.

I don't think the shaking is related to that. Sounds more like something in the clutch is bad or poor technique.

That’s what I was thinking. I’ve been trying to let out the clutch faster because the shaking feels like it’s happening when I’m revving around 3,000 rpm and letting out the clutch. But if I barely rev it and slowly let of the clutch into first then it doesn’t happen

Clutch or throw out bearing or even clutch fork pick one. You need to get that check out but if you’re going that far time to install a new clutch btw comes with throwout bearing.

Let it run. I’d imagine your not out of your car for longer than a minute or two. Turning it over can out a lot of wear on it
