I'm doing pretty good I think... one full tank of gas gives me 600 km or 373 miles.

8.3 Liters per 100 km or 28.34 U.S. MPG City / Highway combined

2006 Civic LX auto 120,000 km or 74,600 miles

Not bad. Just filled up daughters 2008 civic and its getting about 27 but she drives it hard and has 197K miles now.

Just do a 3X drain and fill on the transmission fluid If an automatic. I do that about every 40K miles and runs like a top. Honda’s are a bit picky with regard to transmission fluid so I always stick with DW1 fluid. My 2011 Odyssey has 211K miles and it should easily see 300k at this rate.

Good to hear.. I did a drain of the transmission fluid (X1)and changed the filter, behind the air box at the same time two years ago. The only one done during life of the car. Since draining and filling is about as easy as an oil change so hopefully will have time to do it again soon. Yes DW1 from Honda dealer.

I get 300 miles out of a tank before the light comes on. That’s with steady highway driving. 2006 EX auto. I’ve been really unimpressed with the fuel economy I’ve gotten thus far. I’ve changed spark plugs, trans. fluid, and other consistent upkeep. The best mileage I’ve ever gotten was like 27 MPG.

I should have added this is about the same mileage I had when I first purchased the car in 2006 brand new.

We have an 2009 dx 1.8 auto. 227000 km on it My daughter got 6.7 l/100 this summer for an average of 90 percent highway. I am blown away with how little fuel it burns.

2006 LX auto with 197K miles - original owner. I do the oil changes and the tranny fluid changes per the maintenance minder system.
Even today, in mixed rural/in-town driving, I get ~35 mpg. On all highway, I'll get to ~40 mpg and can easily cruise 400 miles on a single tank of gas.
