sorry for the noob question but is the regular coupe headlight the same size as the si headlights?

Coupe headlight and the Coupe Si = Same = YES!

Same dimensions and everything for the EX/DX/LX Coupe and Si Coupe. The only difference is the coupe gets little amber rings around the high beam area.

i also have another question, if anyone knows. i am going to do a retrofit with coupe headlights and was wondering if i can get the same white accents to replace the amber as the civic lightwerkz retrofitted with the fx35 projectors? heres the thread? as you guys told me before that the only difference is the amber in the headlights. i just wanted to know if with the coupe headlights i can put those white accents?

The white accents were the Si coupe's amber accents painted white. You can definitely do that, no problem. What you're going to have to do is paint the amber ring on the high beams white, then paint ONLY the part that's in front white on the corner side where the turn signals are. If you paint the whole thing white, you'd not be able to see your turn signals.

You can also paint it any other color you want.

Before you paint the plastic , do one of two things...

A) Sand with fine grit sandpaper
B) Use adhesion promotor

Otherwise, as you reasemble the light, your paint will be chipped off, rubbed off.. not looking good at all.

DRLs are the high beam bulbs on half power.
