could the bung spacer for my race header be causing me to run rich? I will post a pic if that helps. When I rev the car at idle she spits out the back, everything seems fine though other that i get horrible gas milage. :sadwavy:
I think you're referring the the defouler correct? If so that shouldn't effect the AFR in any way. Ithe secondary O2 sensor is merely to detect if you still have a cat - for emissions purposes.
If you put the defouler on the first O2 sensor it will think the car is running lean and give it more fuel than it needs. The defouler should be in the O2 sensor that would have normally been after the cat, 2nd sensor.
did you have the bung? Maybe if i shorten the bung and more of it sticks out into the test pipe area it would lean out..... or is it just how the race headers function?
