i am confused as to wether you can install aftermarket short ram and cold air intake..or is it just one or the other and if so which would you prefer? HELP PLEASE !!

One or the other. Cold air is better, but there's a chance you can get water in it and *** up your motor. Short ram doesnt have that problem, but you can get heat soak and lose power.

thank you. but what are the chances of getting water sucked in? and can't you get a hydro shield?

If the area you live in has very warm weather but does not flood very much, get a cold air.

If the area you live in is cold and you drive through alot of flooded areas get a short ram intake or get a cold air intake with a bypass filter.

Performance wise it will all depend on the temperature of the area you're in, colder temps favor a short ram intake. Warmer temps will favor a cold air intake because it takes colder air from outside of the car.
