I am aware that there is a TSB 11-005 related to the Clutch Master Cylinder.

My question is how that would apply to my case. I own a 2010 Civic Si (FG2) that only has 23,000 miles on it. So it is way out of the normal warranty based on time but way under on mileage.

The TSB says "The normal warranty applies". So I am assuming that means that Honda is not going to pay for this.

Update:

I took my car to Honda and had them do the repairs. Nothing was covered under warranty (big surprise).

Also of note the CMC that was originally in my car from the manufacturer was 46925-TA0-A01 which I had replaced under warranty after 1 year with part number 46925-TA0-A02.

This time the CMC was replaced with 46925-TA0-A03.

Not sure what was changed between A02 to A03.

Hopefully this one lasts at least another 8 years.:vtec:

Is this the typical popping/clicking, almost no matter what speed you depress the clutch pedal at? I squirt white lightning grease in there every single month. Every single month. It's such a pain. But at $500 I'm not replacing the clutch MS.
