Clunking, Popping, or Clicking Noise From the Front While Turning

SYMPTOM
There is a clunk, pop, or click coming from the front of the vehilce when making a left or right turn at slow speeds.

PROBABLE CAUSE
The steering gearbox mounting bolts are not torqued correctly.

Retorque the steering gearbox mounting bolts.

I just wanted to say thanks. I know this is an old post but I recently picked up my 08 Si from an Acura dealership and had the same exact issue. I showed them the tsb and they fixed it right away.

Sorry for bumping an old thread.
I don't see my VIN in the list of the affected vehicles on TSB, but I THINK that it is indeed my problem.

I'm including a video so if anyone can confirm that the clunk I'm hearing is because of the shifting steering rack I can try to ask the dealer to perform the TSB or if everything fails, lift the car and do it myself, although I would rather have someone more experienced deal with my steering just to be on the safe side.

I've had this issue since I got the car @ 11k Km's.
Now have 167k Km's and its still there.

Low speeds in parking lots, gets louder when cold outside.

Swapped suspension with HFP @ around 60k km's. Didn't make a difference.

So I had a shop put in polyurethane steering mounts and they must have tightened down the bolts too hard. I have had a clunking for months before I finally Googled this problem.

I could only loosen 4 of the 6 bolts, but it worked! OMG, I was about ready to replace all the steering components.

Took it to dealer today. They wouldn't do it on my 2010 per TSB. Charged me $62 and did it. Car is perfect.

Thank You. I took my car to Freeway honda today and they refused to do the service bulletin without a diagnostic fee of 145. I'm gonna go to Hardin Honda in Anaheim tomorrow and see what they say.
