Does anyone have any tips for preparing for their Class 5 drivers exam with ICBC? Where did you guys take it?
I took my class 5 license in Langley. It was a gamble for me, wait 3 months in Coquitlam (where I'm from) or 2 days in Langley. Anyway, when I took it there it was fairly easy, make sure you shoulder check every movement. In Langley, the examinmer never made me go to Highway#1, because he said it takes too long to go on and off. The maximum speed I got in Langley was 70km/hr.

shoulder check, watch your speed and don't take your hands off the steering wheel! i took it in richmond and i was going like 40 in a school zone during the test and he just let me pass anyway... just drive regularly and maintain the correct speed

yes, like everyone said, shoulder check on each turn (left and right turns). speed at 50km/h and 30km/h during school zone (if wkdays) and at playground areas. when going on the freeway, speed up to its max. limit. don't merge into it too slow or else u get docked for that as well.
