Hey whats up guys, im new here and im new to the honda civic as well. I really like the new 06 coupe and ill probably be getting one in november. Aside from electronics and a moonroof, it seams that the DX,LX,EX are all pretty much the same right? or am i totally wrong? Also if i get a DX could i add the HFP body kit to it? sorry if this is a stupid question but im just not sure if they only work with higher models.

I like the pics they have on here, it looks sweet!

I like the DX cause its very cheap and i can add my own electronics (stereo, nav, lcd, etc) i really dont care for hondas electronics. I would like to add that kit to the DX too. School me on the civic cause im just so new on this and i know i might be talking out of my .......hehehe

first off - welcome to the site.

2nd - all 3 trims will have the same engine/tranny.

What you gain by the other models (lx, ex) is going to be convenience things. The body parts won't be an issue as far as fitment.

Power locks/windows etc will be standard on the LX/EX lines.

here is a little more info on the HFP kit in this thread.

also note - on the link you provided- the top image is the SI coupe.

The HFP pics at the bottom ofthe page are the non- si coupes.
The SI will give you the 197hp motor from the RSX-S, different badging, seats, 6 speed manual, 350 watt stereo with sub, limited slip differential and many other options. The SI won't be available for sale until sometime after the sema show in Vegas - Nov 1st through the 4th. No official honda date has been posted as of yet.

There are quite a few threads about the different models on the site. Take a look around, and browse through the gallery area. There are lot of images there that might help you out.

Hey thanks a lot webby! Do you know how the Si will cost? I think i might go with the LX, i kind of want or need the standards that come with it hehehe Im glad to hear Body parts wont be an issue, but i think the only thing i would add is just that HFP body kit and not much else, but i guess you never know, that modding fever may hit you, thats addicting :p

yes, the mod bug might bite! beware.

The official honda price on the SI is not out. Honda has stated that the base SI will be "under 20k". That price is without navigation, and without destination charges.
