Thank you for the link to the brace! I have the opportunity to apply this fix NOW, ahead of the expected failure. Love it!Common issue with our cars unfortunately. I got one of these to try to prevent this issue. MDP V2 Clutch Pedal Brace.
Others have welded extra support material to the pedal.
