I want to change my lugs but I was wondering if I could just replace them one @ a time so that I don't have to jack the car up, or is that bad for the car for whatever reason?

Well, if could work but you gotta think that if you change them one at a time, the wheels could still move just the tiniest movement, thus your wheels will be crooked, possibly not being able to tighten your lugs on all the way. Then, they might end up losening overtime. Just might as well jack it up really quick and do it right the first time. That's unless you don't have a jack or something.. haha. I could be wrong but hey?

yea, do it...if u do one at a time the wheel wont move cause the other lugs are still tight...will u torque them?....lol

Providing the car is stable and doesn't roll in the process, a jack won't be necessary...actually to prove a point you can remove all the lug nuts on all 4 wheels and they won't budge an inch.

yep i'll torque them.. i have a beam type torque wrench
i do have a jack but its just a hassle to jack up the car just to change the lugs

so i guess the general consensus is that it could be done without harming the car/wheels/rotors

Yah you can do it one wheel at a time just be sure to torque them

I wouldnt just to insure that the wheel doesnt move, considering that they are a stud centric setup.
