Well, if could work but you gotta think that if you change them one at a time, the wheels could still move just the tiniest movement, thus your wheels will be crooked, possibly not being able to tighten your lugs on all the way. Then, they might end up losening overtime. Just might as well jack it up really quick and do it right the first time. That's unless you don't have a jack or something.. haha. I could be wrong but hey? :p

yep i'll torque them.. i have a beam type torque wrench
i do have a jack but its just a hassle to jack up the car just to change the lugs

so i guess the general consensus is that it could be done without harming the car/wheels/rotors
