Can I bolt up my Skunk2 Alpha to stock exhaust? Tried to search!

I searched...but I'm uncertain and wanted to find out before installing my Skunk2 Alpha.

I still have a stock exhaust right now (I was/am saving up for a Full Race, but not certain if that's what I want now).

So will this bolt right up to my stock exhaust flange with no problems?

very true!

:yeahthat:

You'll not see all of the gains possible from the Alpha. And your basemap tunes will likely be a little rich so keep an eye on them, especially under WOT. Otherwise you should be just fine running it through your stock exhaust while you decide on a "cat" back (you don't have a cat so it seems silly to call it that).

I have my Alpha bolted to a WS2 and it's great. Loud under WOT but no drone, and quiet the rest of the time.
Yeah, hopefully I find an exhaust that will fit what I like. The Full Race sounds good...but not totally sure...especially for 800 bucks

Is our stock exhaust like 2"? Just wondering, because the WS2 isn't much bigger is it...thought it was like 2.25 from what I remember reading on the exhaust thread.

I hear ya man...I do a lot of city driving and have kids...so I don't think I'd want a super loud exhaust either. The exhausts for our car are just damn expensive though, lol...or maybe it's because the economy has effected the yen to dollar rate :(

Yeah OEM exhaust is 2" or 2.25". I remember when I went to JoTech Motorsports in Garland, TX and they try to sell me on the Strup RH. and the Flashpro because I just bought the 70mm S2 and a Takada SRI off someone and they said the outlet on the RH was 60mm. So I was thinking what the hell is the OEM size then if 60mm is considered an "improvement".

BTW JoTech Motorsports in Garland is like being a kid in a candy store. They are one of thee best tuners/mechanics I ever had the priviledge of speaking with. On their floor they had Honda and JDM parts off the ass, their 6sec. tC w/ a v8 blown engine. Their garage had 3 R35's, 2 EVO X's, a Masaratai and a Lambo being worked on. And a 500+ hp FG2 on the dyno. I needed a new pair of pants when I left. LoL!
yeah, JoTech is good from what I hear. I lived in SATX and heard about them. I ended up going to VSV in Dallas though...they do good work too, not sure if they are still around (went to them when I had a turboed EP3).
