camshafts ?

Has anyone tried this mod? I know theres cams out for the 06 si. Does hondata have a setup for this mod. Or can u can get the reflash then do this mod on your own. One more question can u degree your stock cams to get more power and if u can how? :popcorn: :popcorn:

You will not get the full potentional of a camshaft replacement until custom software tuning (like KPro for the RSX-S) becomes available.

Remember, Hondata reflashes your ECU to work with bolt-ons, and with stock internals. Contact them first.

Brian of B.Crower contacted me with a quote of $500 for two K20Z3 cams and $300 for the titanium/spring setup.

If you change cams, you MUST change the springs.

^^This is the most accurate of the responses you got here (+1 rep.) As mentioned before, any camshaft designed for the K20 will work with the Z3 head, but tuning is your problem. The Hondata re-flash has NOT been tested with after market cams, so you would be rolling the dice on that one. The TOV project Si is running I/H/E with IPS cams and a custom flash from Hondata. I contacted Doug to see if this flash is available for public consumption and I was told not at this time.

i have some 06 TSX cams that ill be putting in soon. i already have hondata aswell.

:yeahthat: but i wouldnt but cams now unless u have atleast the reflash...
