i'm planning on lowering my 08 si about 1.5". where will the camber be at without camber kits (stock arms)? what're the recommended numbers? i'm planning on getting camber kits if needed. this car will see the occasional auto-x and and probably 1-2 open track events this year, other than that i drive around 15-20k miles a year dd-ing it.

you will need camber kits with that drop. no "real" adjustments with the stock stuff.
No adjustment at all on the rears.
and yes a camber kit will be needed.
also some si's after being dropped sit extremely uneven like neg 3 on one side and neg 1 on the opp side, so id recomend having it before installing the springs, even people without lowering springs have complained about rear inner tire wear.

if youre dropping 1.5" you will need a camber kit at least for the front or it will handle like crap . You could probably adjust the rear a bit and even it up some but the front ............... nope .
so the rear factory suspension DOES have a little camber adjustment?

Not sure what they will be after the drop, but some info on a starting point for more agressive alignment: (taken straight from the Stickied threads)

i completely forgot about that sticky, thanks.

so here are my 2 main questions:
1) approximately where will the rear camber be after the car is lowered 1.5"?
2) is the camber adjustable at all in the rear on the factory suspension?

i'm wondering if it's worth spending the money on rear camber arms. it's obvious that i'll need front camber bolts so i'll definitely get them.

No problem.

1) I am not sure.
2) To my knowledge, no.
