Can anyone comment on swapping K Series cams with the Skunk2 method? Supposedly you can loosen the cam gear bolts and just slide the cam out without messing with the chain or tensioner. The video is old and doesn't work. Anyone tried it?

I can’t say much about that method, I used the Honda camshaft alignment tool to set the top end in time. Did my cams without removing the timing chain cover. I also replaced my TCT, I’d go ahead and replace it just for the peace of mind if aftermarket cams are going in.
