the video is private. it takes a few outings to get the glaze off the new components. It may just be that or some brake pads that are a bit noisy. let us hear the video!
I had this issue with my brake pedal. Come to find out it was because when I purchased drilled/slotted rotors they were meant for an si (which are a hair smaller, or bigger can’t remember). Anyway, when I upgraded my brakes to the TLS BBK it went away, which leads me to believe it was because of the rotors I was running.Hello, I have a 2008 Honda Civic Lx sedan with 182,000 miles on it. What I had done to my brakes are new rotors for the front, new brake pads for the front, one new drum brake on the driver side rear, new shoes for both rear drum brakes, and changed out the brake fluid for new fluid. I noticed this whenever I go from park to drive then let go of the brake pedal. I'll hear a little noise, but never looked into it. So I record it HERE
In the video I pressed the brake pedal all the way down and barely, ever so slightly, let up from the brake pedal. Not enough so I'll go forward, but enough that I know that I didn't let go completely from the brake pedal. Is that noise normal, or am I just messing something up form doing what I did.
Ironically I just went to go get brake rotors for my rear and I told the Oreillys guy my make and submodel, the si. He gave me BBK rotors and I thought nothing of it. When I went to install them they were 1 inch larger than mine and I'm like wtf. Went and returned it. Just found it funny you were given si rotors and I was given lx rotors.I had this issue with my brake pedal.
