First off, I have searched for a while but have found no definitive answers. Some people rub, others dont. Im a noob when it comes to wheels and tires so some help would be greatly appreciated. This is for a spirited daily driving setup.
I am looking to purchase some RPF1's for my fa5 very soon. I decided that i want to run a 225/45/17 tire over a 235/40/17 due to the 225/45's having a better tread rating, more options are available and they are slightly cheaper.
Right now suspension is stock but I want to upgrade to HFP in the future.
So my question is which size will offer the best fitment? 17x8 45 offset, 17x8 35 offset or maybe 17x7.5 xx / any other size for that matter.
Tires that I am considering are michelin pilot sport a/s 225/45/17. If anyone has any other recs for a good all season tire I am all ears. However, this post is mainly concerned with wheel fitment.
