while driving in highest gear is optimal for smoothness and gas mileage, when you are stabbing the throttle deep down while in 5th gear going 20mph, it'll use more gas because of the position of the throttle.

Optimal thing to do is have the LEAST amount of load on the engine. you can hear the engine note change while on and off load.

awesome psyshack!

I've gotten 42mpg i mean this is with few stop and go miles as well as going above 70mph. I'm sure I could squeeze few more miles per gallong out of this if I REALLY tried hard enough. 44psi is def a good thing to do for less rolling resistance. Hows your ride? :D I keep mine 2psi more than factory specs...not too much but yeah that probably has lot to do with your high gas mileage.

but I"m sure turnign the car off and restarting has cost you more gas. If you didn't do it, I'm sure u'd get better gas mileage!
