I don't have the owner's book next to at the moment, but if you look under the driving section, you'll eventually come to a page that tells you at what speeds to shift for maximum fuel economy. I'd tell you what I do, but I have an Si, and the Si's shift speeds are slightly different than the EX (5MT to 6MT), but like I said, take a look in the book.

If I recall correctly, on the Si they usually recommend shifitng around 3.5k to 4k RPM under normal driving conditions.

I've always been told to be in the highest gear possible at the speed your going (obviously not in like 6th at 25 miles per hour, but you get the jist of it).

The lower your RPM's, I've been told, the less gas you use. Which is one reason you get less milage per gallon going over 65 mph, but that's also to do with resistence and such, I think.
