Is it bad for your transmission if you skip gears??? ,

Like alot of the time since my exhaust is so loud i go from fourth to sixth is this bad??
I do it just to not piss off the other people in there cars lol and keep my car as quiet as possible :laughing::thumb:

From what I understand it is not a good idea to skip gears. It is not good for the synchros.
