Hey guys I picked up my 4th car a couple days ago. A 2009 civic si. I currently own a 2018 sti, 2003 Evo, and a 2002 rsx-s. Back in 2005 I bought an 2005 civic si which I type r conversion , along with a k24/turbo swap. I'll post some pics of em on the 2nd post

But first onto the Si. I picked this up after a couple of duds on craiglist. Everyone claimed mint immaculate condition and none were the case. I found this one with full boltons and tuned by vitviper. I have been out of the Honda game for awhile but I heard hes a real good tuner for these cars. The owner told me on his virtual dyno the car made 215 whp.

I have some goodies that I already purchased for it and will keep the thread updated as I install parts. The stock wheels on the car suffer from major curbing. There not in good shape at all. So my first purchase was a set of 17in carbon bronze HFP wheels that I ordered from Honda part world. The car also only had a set of weather tech mats. So I also ordered stock OEM floor mats.

I'm using this car as mostly a DD so I'm not doing anything major power wise. The car has a race header along with a 3in full race exhaust. I purchased a Vibrant streetpower exhaust and bringing it down to 2.5 in.

I only snapped a few of the si for now. More to come !

I dont see a purpose to a 3in exhaust on a car that only makes a little over 200 whp. That's overkill. Haha the evo is a keeper. It only has 26k original miles.

if you ever sell those weathertech mats let me know ! haha haven’t pulled the trigger on those yet. I feel bad for my cars carpets especially in the winter

Gona keep em for the winter and rock the OEM mats in the spring/summer. I've become quite the car cleaning expert. Even my mats come out nice

Some goodies from Honda arrived. I should have my car back Saturday. I havent driven it since I test drove. Even though it's just a Honda civic I'm quite excited to get back into a tuned civic. I do also own a rsx-s but shes all stock

So yesterday I did a quick clean of the Si, added the JDM H's, with OEM floormats. The car was filthy on the inside. I'm really big into detailing but with an evo and sti that I keep maticulously clean i just dont have time for that type of effort in the Si. I just used some mequires wash and wax soap with a wash mop i bought specifically for this car. I used some chemical guys black frost fragrance for the inside which I'm not a big fan of. Kinda smells like cheap cologne or after shave. Their stripper scent is still my favorite. I have some JDM squash scent from them that I'm still yet to try


I also got a pioneer radio installed with android which is awesome . The car also came with an alarm and automatic start which I've never had before and absolutely love. My gf and I took it out to dinner last night and another Si tried racing me on the highway haha. Had the lady in the car so just let him do his fly by. Next time.

That Evo is nice.
Actually got the evo back from the body shop today. Short story, I drove 8 hours to buy this car. 16 hours total. PO said it's in mint condition. Get up there and for the most part it's in good shape besides rust forming on the driver panel. When asked why this wasnt mentioned ever I got the "well dont buy it then" response. Really dude ? Anyways I finally got the rust taken off and repainted . Came out looking sharp.

Jealous of the other cars you have in your garage. I've never owned an Evo myself. My friend has had a couple, but dang if you want a nice one better be prepared to dig deep in your wallet.

I've owned a couple S2K's, and honestly they always left me wanting for more. I much preferred my AP2 over my AP1 but still....I mean I love the look of them, and the transmission is so sweet but unless I was out on some real twisty roads the car just wasn't all that fun to me.

Yep. I paid 22k for the evo. Had 16k miles on the dial, bone stock...Def a unicorn evo, besides the rust that was never disclosed to me. I totally agree with the s2k. I had an ap1 did full boltons and an aem ecu and made 201 whp..... I was like uggggh, what did I spend my money on?

Some more pics of her and the sti. Both just running basic boltons. The evo responds better to mods. I was tuned by the same guy on the same dyno, sti made 320whp evo made 336 and is way lighter. Would destroy the sti easily .

Evo dyno: the dotted lines were my previous tune when I was on stock intercooler compared to the ETS bigger setup. Huge difference.
