Good day all! Hope y'all can help me with this. I did some searches, but couldn't find anything specifically about my particular problem.
2007 LX 4 door
Where is the power window control module located?

My problem as it progressed is this:
Back in July, I realized that neither back window would go down (already up), neither with their own switch nor with the driver ones. However, both fronts still worked. Checked the rear window fuses and they were good. I swapped switches on both sides of the rear AND the driver switches with known good ones. Didn't do anything. Since it was not a big deal, I left it alone. Then a coupla months ago, the passenger front stopped working. Same deal. THEN a week ago, the DRIVER window will not go down. All 4 window fuses are good.

So, that leaves me with... where is the power window control module located? I assume it is this as there seems to be nothing left. And the progression of the symptoms leads me to believe that all those motors just quit does not seem plausible. Not impossible, but not likely. I won't rule it out though.

Can anyone help me diagnose this? I don't have a shop manual, but maybe it's time to get a good one. Recommendations?

TIA,

Thanks for the reply!, However, the windows don't move. None of them now. Not sure since I changed the driver side switch module to a known working one (out of one of my other drivers) and nothing happened.

I had the wife drive the car to my buddy's shop to get the starter replaced this morning (I just did not feel like doing it) and I started the car and the windows still did not move. She got in the car, drove away and started driving then texted and said that the driver window now works again. I said, "PUT IT BACK UP AND LEAVE IT THERE!" LOL

Sounds like it is a wiring/intermittent issue. I just ordered the FSM from someone on ebay last night, so I will try to troubleshoot it as soon as I get time. Looks like I may need to buy the electrical supplemental manual too. Anyone have one they wanna sell? :D

I have that same issue. Disconnected and reconnected the module from the driver side panel. It tends to stick once in a while. Frustrating when you're trying to open the windows. Good luck!
