I was wondering what wheel and tire setups people were running, and if anyone has any experience with running either sets of these? From their spec sheets they look similar, so I was wondering if anyone had some input on how they feel on the road. I don't need the best winter performance, I live in the northeastern US but I have access to better equipped snow vehicles, I just want a tire that is grippy enough in summer that I can run all year without worrying about cracking. Not doing autox or anything, just like the feel of carving through some canyons in my free time.

Biggest points would be with driving feel/feedback? I want a tire that will respond well even if it might not grip to the 99th percentile as well as its competition. I'm also open to other tire recommendations. Thanks!

I just put Michelin crossclimate2s on my Si Sedan. It's a new segment of tires called the "All Weather" tire. I like it a lot so far, just waiting for it to snow to test that out.

I just got Michelin pilot sport a/s 3+ all season put on my sedan stock si rim 2009. I like them, they are quiet on highway and forgiven on bumps and cracks from shitty road. Deep thread is 9/32" which is great.

Now this compare to my previous Michelin pilot super sport summer tires. The only comment is that I lost the race car feeling....:( Before the car feel super engaging and kind of responsive. Steering wheel was heavy to turn and the car laterally felt glued to the road. (Can be negative here as a small crack will transfer to the entire car lol). But I cannot pay 350+ per tire.. I think is too much $$$. Also, the thread life is less ay 7/32' the tires only lasted 4 years. keep in mind I swap winters .. I think doing the math I barely put 40k km on them...
Hope this helps you.
