This is Short Ram Intake???? I thought it was Cold Air Intake...

Or are there 2 kinds? Im so lost

I am asking cause i got an email form the RSX forumn that they are selling them

short ram. and why would u get one from the rsx forum? You getting the rsx now?

no no i saw it there =P

and it said Short Ram... and i always thought it was CAI...

Well since i really want the V2 and was afraid of Hydrolocking...i guess i dont have to anymore since there is no hydrolocking with the V2 unless u dive into a pool

older type v2's are CAI but for the k-motors they were made to be SRI.

and actually if you go through dyno sheets there was a huge write up about 2 years ago on SRI vs CAI..CAI definatley has a better torque range but thats only at low rpms. the high hp range is still good up to 8200 or so fine but it wont seem to make as good as power up up..now the SRI seems to make power all the way to 8800..so better for something you are using high rpms all day..like a road course

...i still want a cai tho cause i love torque but i will admit the SRI sounds so damn good on these cars!
