My 08 civic si ac isn't working, I've seen all the post on here of various problems but none of them seem to be the same problem I'm having, basically what happens is when I first start the car the ac will kick on for about 10 seconds then kick off and it won't kick back on no matter what I do. I'll start off with everything I've tried so far I tried different relays and switching them around with no results, it's not low on freon, just had it vacuumed and recharged cause I thought that may have been the issue, I have no idea what to try next but with the warm weather approaching I need to get this fixed, any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

More then likely it's not fully charged.
I received my 07 like that and it was only charged 1/2 full causing it to be cool but not cold and sometimes cycle the compressor off blowing only warm air.
Checked my system for leaks and found none so I'm assuming it's a common issue to receive the vehicle not fully charged from the factory.

I had a Honda dealer diagnose & fix the problem. You just need a digital multimeter.

First, remove the clutch coil connector and confirm that the voltage is 12V when the A/C is turned on. If good, then check the resistance of the coil itself. It should be between 3.15 - 3.45 ohms. Outside of this range warrants a new coil.
