Hey guys,
So I've been having lots of AC issues with my 08 Si, it'll blow cold air for a while then cutout and blow warm air. So far the freon has been refilled and checked for leaks, ac clutch relay replaced, a fuse and a switch replaced and still the same issue. My mechanic suggested bypassing the thermal switch on the AC compressor before I bite the bullet and go with a whole new compressor.
Just wondering if anyone has done the bypass and has any advice/comments on if this is a possible solution. Thanks!

This problem may also arise because of faulty relays. On heating up the relay opens up and the compressor doesn't engage anymore.

It can also be because the AC condensor is dirty and needs a thorough cleaning.

Please check if both the fans are working when the AC stops blowing cold air.

Run a direct wire to the compressor and run it for a few minutes to check if the compressor is working fine.
