Hey everyone!! So I recently just swapped my old Si oil pump with an 8th gen rsx oil pump. I know it’s been going on for some quite some time now but I’ve just now done it.
So my questions are do I need to replace my dipstick with a type-s dipstick? Also will my Si oil chain tensioner be ok for the different oil pump, or do I need to swap that as well with a type-s tensioner? Lastly I’ve noticed that I’m losing oil before I even hit 2k miles between oil changes are oil consumptions different with the type-s oil pump ( I’m still using my Si oil pan).
I greatly appreciate any answers to these questions ( my bad if theyre newbie questions, I’m still novice )

You don't need to replace the dipstick, the engine will use more oil because of no balance shafts. It's all here, I want to do the same modification.
