Does anyone know any front lower control arm hardware kit for 8th gen civicsi , or the dimensions for the nuts and bolts for the control arm, I have been trying to replace my control arm and the old bolts were rusted and had to cut them off. It would helpful if anyone knows the size of the ball joint nuts and bolt as well.

I assume you are talking about stock parts. I'd suggest just buying them from the local Honda dealer. They will be the correct size, the proper grade (strength) and will be coated to prevent corrosion. They aren't that expensive.

Otherwise, you can look up your parts at an online site like www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. The diagrams will list the bolt diameter and length. For example, the vertical bolt that mounts the A-frame to the vehicle is listed as:
Bolt, Flange (14x94) 90116-SNA-010

That means it is a 14mm diameter bolt that is 94mm long. You don't know the pitch (fine or coarse), but you should be able to determine that from the old parts.

But again, I would just buy OEM parts. Some of the suspension bolts have non-standard shanks or unique underhead geometries. And I don't think you'll easily find them at your local Lowes. Broken suspension bolts can cause a wreck, and I wouldn't chance it. YMMV.

Good luck.

Thank you so much.
And btw I had to drill out the bolts and I broke one of the welded nuts on the chassis, the one which is on the A frame. What do think I should do for that they don't have those on the parts website.

So the broken weld nut is on the subframe or on the lower A-arm? I don't think there are any weld nuts on the lower A-arm, so I assume you're talking about the subframe.

Did it just come loose or is it trashed? If you're able to get in there to hold the nut, you may be able to find a 10.9 grade nut in the right size and go that route. Might be good to then paint it to protect the rust from nut since it might not have the corrosion coating on it.

If you can't get in there to hold the nut while you torque the bolt, you may have to find someone to tack weld the nut to the subframe.

May some pics and others may have some ideas?
