Hey man. I have a honda civic 2009 VTI. I have 235/45/r17x7.5 +40mm offset. I have zero rubbing problems. I saw a honda civic 2008 with tyres of 215/40/r18, He said he had zero problems. The only problem i can see is that there might be some issues when spinning all the way left or right. I do not think you will have a problem but I would check with a mechanic. Make sure the bolt pat is 114.3x5 or 114 x 5 (change to inches, I am australian)
