I’ve been looking for an exhaust for my fg2 and since I got the car I’ve looked at people getting exhausts, that don’t scream I have a rice rocket. I like the price point of the q300 and how people rave on how nice it sounds and quiet it is in terms of drone but is it even good with just a stock header? If not should I lean towards full race with the stock header? I’m not trying to do much with this car but just get a decent exhaust.

From what I've seen, it would be a good option to allow future growth, while still offering a bit more aggressive tone and character. It will probably only be good for around 5hp with tuning on a stock header, but it will be great when paired with a header if you ever decide to do that.

In my opinion, I don't think it is worth the extra volume of a Full Race or other 3" cat back for the modest increase in power.

I'm running the q300 on my fa5 and I'm a big fan. There was a noticeable power increase with the catback and a skunk2 CAI, nothing crazy but noticeable. I think HammeredSole is right, there's lots of potential for the q300 paired with a nice header
