what dealership did u go to?

are u a newb at manual tranny as well? we should meet if we pick it up on the same day and have a practice session if u are a newb like moi!

well I drive manual tractors and back hoe's for work, plus i have my A-Z liscense.

Daaang... looks like everyone's getting TW Si Coupe... better start modding or I'll look exactly the same as you guys! I'm n00b at manual too haha... practice sessions ftw...

The first time i drove a manual is when i drove the Si out of the dealership's parking lot on my first day when i picked up the car. Good luck. :thumb:

You'll love it once you get it...and it's VERY tough to stay away from VTEC for the first little while...actually I slipped a couple of times

I purchased the Nighthawk Black Pearl coupe, and put 20% tint on it...looks pretty awesome!

I almost bought the TW...I suppose if I show up at your TW meet and greet I'll be the odd one out...hahahaha

After meeting a bunch of 8th civic guys tonight, I wouldn't be too worried about being the odd one out haha... everyone's cool

Congrats on the purchase! I stayed away from vtec until I hit 1300 km lol... and then I stopped doing it daily after realizing the amount of gas it drains.

But seriously, I never knew what the hype about vtec was before, until owning this car... maan... :vtec: ftw!!

I think they actually DO offer below 20% tint... I think limo tint is like 5% or something? But ya, it's just that the installer will probably make you sign something saying that you'll take responsibility of cops / accidents, cos honestly, you can't see ANYTHING at nite with limo tint lol...

But seriously: my advice to you is to get some Amsoil or GM Syncromesh for your manual tranny fluid ASAP.

While it doesn't "fix" third gear, it significantly appears to aid in smoother shifting, and you may actually prevent any damage from third gear grind before it happens.

I got my VIN already and they said the car should arrive today or Monday and they have to do the PDI and it'll be ready
