i have a 08 lx coupe. the ac works great for like 10 minutes then it stops. the pressure is OK according to the sensor and gauges. new line and sensor. has the correct amount of refrigerant. when i have a scan tool on it i see the demand for the ac clutch is on but it inst. Does any one have a diagram of the ac compressor connector so i can send power to the compressor to see if i can get it to work.

Same problem with my 2008 EX. I will be taking a look at this soon now that the weather is more agreeable to shade tree mechanic work.
Here is a link that might be helpful. Please post any progress on your problem. Thanks!

It just started Memorial Day Monday on my 2010 EX-L with 107K miles, in under an hour of driving I get a hissing sound from the dash and the fan speed gets really low but after shutting it off for a while and restarting it worked for another hour before doing it again. I'm having my mechanic look at it in a couple weeks when I take it in for state inspection and 110K service (spark plugs and valve adjustment)
I had the same issue a few years back with my 09 Si. First I replaced the AC relay in the fuse box. This helped for a while and then it would work intermittently. I ended up replacing the AC clutch. If you look down at the AC compressor, you can see the clutch inside the AC pulley. If the clutch is not engage, you can tap with with a long stick (make sure you have a tight grip on the stick). Once you tap the clutch, it should engage and the AC will work again. It will disengage after the AC runs for a while. The clutch may or may not engage again. That's how I determined my AC clutch was bad. Replacing the AC clutch was not too bad. The only problem I remember having is loosening the AC compressor to gain access to the clutch. Hopefully, this help. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Oops not the thread from the mail...

Don't know about the 08 coupes or sedans but the 06s and 07s sedans had a pipe that heated/cooled the rear seats in the center console that would basically fall apart by itself... heater air would almost all go to the unrestricted pipe 85 to 90% heat the cup holders... are those very cold first? Second trick when I owned the 07, sedan was the door switching from heat to cold would stick sometimes and needed to go all the way one direction then back the other. Then the fan died because of the restrictions caused by these 2 issues... 3 screws and connectors... easy fix for that. The console tear down for the pipe was possible with just the shifter cowl loosened with whatever clips. Been too long search for those instructions....
