Hi all, I've run into the infamous limp mode issue.... the only symptom being that the revs cut out at 3400 to 3500 RPM. It happened after I swapped out the Downstream oxygen sensor. I swapped the old one back in and I still have the issue.
Having a friend with a similar car, 2008 with automatic transmission, I swapped out the air sensor and it did nothing to improve the situation.
Next I was planning on swapping the ECU that's located right next to the battery. Is this the unit that controls the cut off and/or limp mode? Also, since I have a manual transmission is his unit compatible with my car? Any assistance in troubleshooting this is greatly appreciated!
