I have a 2006 civic si with intake ant TBS. There is a super clean TSX on another site that i was considering a trade for. The main reason for the trade is i really need 4 doors.

My question is, what would be the difference in performance between my car and this TSX. Im sure it wont handle as good but what do you all think the diff in performance will be. How much slower is a TSX.

I test drove a used 6sp TSX while I was shopping for cars. I liked it a lot, but it was just to nice for what I wanted. I wanted something slightly more sporty like the Si. I didn't want leather, nav, and the extra weight of the TSX. It's a great car though.

tsx was meant to be used for forced induction to be competetive. thats why it has a compression ratio that is low enough for good use of forced induction, and has titanium rods to withstand the power increase.. also the extra weight is to keep the wheels down for FWD when its creating a lot of torque from f/i.

If i were you, I'd never go the n/a route with a TSX...its just pointless.
