Fronts will be okay, if you run staggered you'll have under steer. The tires you have are more narrow than the stock tires. Not a good setup for the Si. I would run the two front s2k wheels and buy another set of fronts from the dealership.

these wheels are advan rgII's. so...they aren't super easy to go out and buy.

I just happened to find a pretty good deal on a set. unfortunately, they are staggered.

17x8 & 17x9 stagg on this Si. You should be fine. If it rubs on the inside then you'd just have to run 5 mm spacers since +45 fits fine.

You want the wider wheels up front because you have a FWD car. S2k is RWD, hence the wider tread in back to offset oversteer. 17x8.5 et50 could rub against the suspension so you might need 5mm spacers.

I wouldn't 205/40/17 on any wheel for the Si, period. Get the right tire size and don't skimp out. I'd go 225/45/17 since it' an 8.5" wheel.

 

The wider wheels up front? don't you think it'll look too weird? also, i can't remember exactly, but i think i read in a thread somewhere, that there's less room in the front wheel wells. so, the likelihood of the 17x8.5's of rubbing against the shocks might be a problem?
