I have a 2010 civic lx coupe. Planning to switch to 17 inches. But what size tires should i get, 225/45 or 235/40? I'm worried about if any one of those may rub, I run on stock suspension tho, no coils.
Kinda late but, I’m running 17x9 +35 with a 225/45. On stock ride height I only rub very occasionally on big dips. For a 9 inch wide rim I wouldn’t go above a +40 offset as in the front I’m literally 5 mm away from hitting the stock strut. I would stick to 225/45 as it’s only a very slight stretch, but people make 235 tires work all the time.
